As we seek to continue to vary the topics of discussion we’re having each month, we’re delighted to have Steve Barton ’84 share his unusual and unexpected life and career path with us. Steve is a study of contrasts: at Brown, he was involved with football…and cheerleading. He has had a long career in marketing – with a particular focus on digital marketing – and has run his own consulting business since 2007, but it was upon learning that he was also CEO of a firm delivering online classes for quilting, knitting, crochet and embroidery that an eyebrow was raised and an invitation to come speak with us extended!
You can learn more about Steve and his firm here (Justhands-on.tv) and you’ll get a chance to meet him in person later this summer as one of the hosts of our coming croquet outing up in Hampstead. As an experienced speaker at conferences and corporate events, a guest lecturer and having made numerous media appearances, we’re really looking forward to our conversation with Steve.
